The Mukhees Niño with our baby and toddler booties made from fine, soft, natural and ecological Spanish transhumant merino wool, and a vegetable-tanned leather sole that adds a layer of non-slip protection when walking.
We weave and sew the Mukhees individually, completely by hand, in our Madrid workshop. Therefore, each pair may present slight aesthetic variations. However, this is not a defect; it gives each piece a unique and special character.
If we're out of stock, don't worry, we'll start the process as soon as you place your order. Each pair takes 2-3 days to knit, and they'll be ready for shipping. So you can enjoy your Mukhees at home in about a week, although we always try to ship them sooner.
With this wool, we support the Transhumance by Made in Slow project for the recovery of Spanish transhumance, declared a Representative Manifestation of Intangible Cultural Heritage, and its merino wool, actively and directly contributing to improving the living conditions of transhumant shepherds, thus helping to preserve this activity.
This version with a sole is available starting at size 18/19. A version without a sole is also available for smaller sizes. We encourage you to share this experience with your family.
We provide you with a measurement guide by age to help you find the right size.

Cuidados | – Hand wash the garment with water and a wool-specific detergent, gently squeezing. Do not rub or stretch it to prevent it from becoming misshapen. – To wring it out, squeeze and release the garment in sections. Discard the dirty water and reinsert the garment until all the soap is released. Repeat until the water runs clear. – Remove excess water by pressing until you can place it horizontally on a towel, rolling it up to remove the excess water. – Leave it spread horizontally in an area out of direct sunlight. If you hang it vertically, it will warp. – Don’t iron it. – Merino wool is prone to pilling; this isn't a defect, but rather a natural result of friction from use. To remove it, simply pull gently. – Remember that high temperatures and prolonged mechanical action will cause it to clump. |
